Depends upon the story u want to tell. The first had little bit too much sky but it does emphasise the guy on the roof. In the second one there is too much happening below him that he is lost in the picture. I would go with the top one but I would crop out the top third of the sky

yeah went with the first one. didn't crop it as I personally like all the negative space
