Great job on the colour. Hard to find good urban art with out clutter around it or people tagging it.

There's a real nice one up in the end of symonds st in town... ( bridge end) and well done on the second one. not too bad.

In my opinion it's not a bad background for a subject..... need something in the middle like a person....

I wish i had a model to pose ever time I decided to shoot some graffiti hahah that would be sick. But it was just me and Tom out shooting around Auckland Harbour

sweet as.... haha i used to hate taking photos of people ( i'm a very shy person) but now i'm getting better and better at it,... lol... i actually find that i'm liking it as good as cars lol it's a real challange mainly due to the fact that you have only one chance to make the person look good.... with a car ( that doesnt have a timeframe ie your mates) it's easy... you screw something up then u just adjust the setting....

wow.... that was un-nessarily long.... oh well... lol

Hey Dave,

Been working long hours so finally time to reply. The wall looks familiar lol.

I personally wouldn't change the colour of someone else's art IMO.

You should have given me a can and I could have modelled for you lol!

This would have to be my favourite image I've ever taken, taken a few years back in christchurch when I still had a canon S3 IS.

Don't have the file anymore I lost it transitioning computers and I could kick myself. What do you guys think of it? Personally I just love the contrast myself.

I saw some driving along Pitt Street. Anyone got any good graffiti locations?

Else, we can have a photo meet in Otara or something, but then we might need to plan an escape, just incase we run into some trouble... :p

I found a spot in mt albert, with some old trucks that had been laid to rest/rust all tagged up, were nice subjects, has real harsh sun light was tricky but came up not too bad tho. will try fish them up.

Hey Tom,

Would you be able to find this location on Google Maps (http://www.google.co.nz/maps) and post up the link. Would quite like to do a junkyard type of shoot...

Thanks!
Talan

Found some kind of cool graffiti on Anzac ave, unfortunately the lighting was terrible and every other time I've walked past once the sun is properly up there's loads of cars blocking it :(

Last time I took some shots there it was the most incredible graffiti over the entire wall!

Yeah Nat, was in Morningside. Shop owner came out to complain (something about boyracers) until i told him it was for a magazine, then he had a 100% change of attitude...

That's cool Spacemunkie! How much of the more of the wall did the piece cover?

One of my recent ones. The composition kind of bugs me but I like the idea of it anyways.
