Hi all, well here is another photo taken tonight of my white (growing kitten). I know the quality is a little poor (cheap camera) so what I am asking for you to give me feedback on is:
1. composition and
2. overall appeal

The light is too harsh and drops off too quickly.. Think more about why you're lighting where you are, what purpose does it serve?
Too much light focused on the white fur makes it all just appear as "white" instead of actually looking like fur.

Focus should be on the eyes.. at the moment it's just above the nose.

Uninteresting composition.. it's a photo of half a cats head. It doesn't interest me at all.. think about what you're trying to capture..
Research the "rule of thirds" for use in composition.. it'll help a lot.

To be honest I really like this shot, when I look at it I feel like a mouse looking out of his mouse-house at the mean ol' kitty cat. Sure it breaks a few 'rules' but the overall result is great IMO.

As a portrait, mmmmmmmmmmmm.
But as a picture, what more would you want? The composition is fine, with the moggie peering in from the darkness at the side. And the extra dark space is fine.

I really like this, it has a 'through a mousehole, darkly' look about it. And you have made puss look huge, too.
