NZI Rugby Sevens

So this weekend was one of the biggest in Wellington.. the NZI Rugby Sevens hit town on Friday and Saturday.
I’m not sure how many people actually went to see the rugby, the obvious attraction was the amazing effort put into some of these costumes!

It started with some Acrobatic Captain Planets, a couple of Na’vi from Avatar offering me powerade, and a bit of a timewarp, and ended with some promo girls and a sexy squad of Buzz Lightyear’s & Cheerleaders. Kitana, Scorpion and Jade from Mortal Kombat dropped by, and something about some rugby thing too.

Yes it was a pretty fun weekend. Personally I do not like the distortion that you have in the photos because of the wideangle lens that has been used. Might have been ok on a few but when it used on everyone it is a little offputting.
