I agree with the idea of rotating the model. Gives everyone an idea of a) how to shoot different people/personalities/looks b) see how hard/easy it is to follow photog's directions c) see how hard/easy it is to give directions

PLus is cheaper/easier to organise - no third parties involved.

Im keen for friday. Haim, you keen to meet up even if its just me and you? Im interested in learning a bit about flash, and although I am limited to using onboard flash (not flashgun) I'm keen even if its just to see how you're kitted out for flash photography and how you work.

-I work fridays and sat afternoon/evening. so any other day i'm keen.

Ive been for a wander around the vicinity of Auckland Uni campus - theres some nice trees with huge roots where some clever lighting and a model would go well. The park is the small one near the Court/Law School/Church heading towards the port.

Model is the problem though (i might beable to borrow/nick a flash off a mate for a day). I tried signing up for modelmayhem.com but my profile got rejected. Only got two more tries then have to start from scratch again, so putting that off until Ive got some proper portraits shot.

Other ideas Ive had is graffiti - there some down at the old train place by britomart (but there is a bit of a dog problem - seen alot of dogshit, and thinking it might be bums/homeless guys and their dogs . . which is a bit eeep)

Other than than, Im just keen to come along and have a chat/try some new ideas out.

well we seem to be missing each other at the moment.
I have just finished Summer School (exam was yesterday whooopwhooop), so Im keen for anytime that fits both/all of us.
I've still gotta source a flashunit at the moment. But I'll suggest this Sat evening coming (20th) ?
