Hey guys

Just wanting some advice on what to do:

Someone in my house has misplaced my Photoshop CS4 extended ( student edition ) for mac and now I have purchsed a new macbook pro.
Of which I would like to install photoshop on.

I tried adobe customer support and he took all my details and then put me on hold so he could see if i could get a replacement CD... I was working and a customer came and I had to hang up.. It took so long to get someone to talk to I dont really want to waste more time doing that again.

If I downloaded a torrent of CS4 and used my origonal serial would this work?
on the adobe site it says that if your CD has been stolen or damaged and you can provide a police and insurance report you maybe able to purchase a new CD.. but I cant do that cos I merely cant find the CD

sorry for the long explanation, if anyone knows how to help let me know\

THANKS

So you have a serial?

Did you have it running on your old computer? If already running on your old computer you need to deregister it before you can use on your new computer. The torrent version should be ok as long as you use a legit serial and it is deregistered from your old computer. Remeber you paid for the license. Licenses in most cases are transferrable.

As long as you have the serial then you should be able to download a new version and then register it with the serial that you have. The Adobe EULA allows for the program to be on a desktop and laptop at the same time so you should not run into any issues there.
