The safest bet would be to take it to Canon - in Northcote. Will cost you $100+

Do it yourself. It's not hard to do.

I have a dusty sensor but too scared to clean it. What product do you guys recommend and where do you get it from? I've see those sticky things you put on the end of s plastic stick. I don't really like the idea of putting sticky things on the sensor let alone, some liquid.

Edit: here is the Dust-Aid sticky stuff I was talking about

Do it yourself man, it's a piece of piss. Only thing is the proper liquid (eclipse) costs like $55 for a bottle, but it should last you pretty much forever. Send it to me and I'll do it for you.... though I can't take any liability.

Also I should mention, the proper stuff to clean it with is basically just methanol because it evaporates so fast that it doesn't leave any residue. Don't use meths or lens cleaning solution. And you have to use lint-free pads to clean it as well. Here is a link to some sensor cleaning advice.

In the end I got mine done at camera & camera in queen st, it cost me $60.00 and only took 15min, I also got a rocket-air blower for $20 which is great for keeping your kit dust free.
