Hey
for all you guys who cant afford a legit copy of Photoshop, and dont want to break copyright laws
http://www.popphoto.com/Features/An-Alternative-To-The-Pricey-Photo-Editing-Software
Something called Digital Light & Color (sic)
It can handle RAW, ProPhoto RGB colorspace (sic), "chromatic aberration reduction, brightness, contrast, and saturation adjustments that target just shadows or just midtones."
Instead of layers, it opens new windows - which might take some time to get used to, same for masks.
Has a history as well
Sounds good, and seems more intuitive than GIMP, but it costs a little more (like US$90), but not as expensive as Adobe photoshop or elements, and just as powerful.
