Hrmmm I've been looking at getting one of these but can get it new online with uv filters and a lense kit chucked in for about NZ$390 including shipping.

Fair enough. I just looked at TradeMe (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchType=0124-3419-3421-4305-&searchString=55-200mm&type=Search) (Avg's $450+) and WPS (http://www.wps.net.nz) store in Wellington who sell it for $580

Willing to go lower if it doesn't sell :) I'll keep ya in mind if you like.

I'd be keen except cbf with trademe, mainly cos I don't get the time to check it at work and follow stuff.

I've thrown in a UV filter too, as my new lens doesn't take the same size filter.

I'd say throw a $290 bid on there, and if there's no more, it's yours :)

i too got myself a 55-200mm af-s dx vr nikon with UV filter off trademe for $300 :) saw it and pressed buy now! pick it up tomorrow, hopefully we will both be very happy :)
