A little side project I've been working on Im hoping for a collection of about 10 good photos, might take a while if the swells keep up.

Looks like a portunese (sp?) man-o-war, which is not a jellyfish but a siphonophore (sp?) - which means it is made of like 4 specialised parts which is seperate, but still depend on each other to survive.
If you get stung by one of these - dont tell the doc it was a jellyfish - as the venom is different, even to the extent that putting vinegar or urine on stings from a man-o-war can make it worse, as the tentacles (theres a proper name for em, but cant remember) actually discharge more in an acidic enviroment ....
just some info I learnt as a diver . . .

sort of, the last shoot i did there the vis would have been 3-4 meters around the rocks i reckon pity the sun was setting could have been a fun dive.
