A recent event at my brother's school, called talentquest - basically a student talent show, primarily music-orientated

Grand Entrance - brother was one of the MC's, they showed a video of them being late for the show, end up running, then swimming after ferry etc, then see them runnig into the backstage entrance and the curtain goes up and they are in the same clothes on stage.

All taken with 50mm/f1.8, various apertures and speeds - manually focused as my canon d60 hates lowlight focusing (so a bit OOF haha)

42 views, and no comments? I thought this was a photographers forum, not flickr/facebook?

Any feedback would be gratefully received (hint hint)

imho, i think #3 is the best, purely because it looks sharper and less noisey than the others. Were you using a tripod?

all were 50mm f/1.8 handheld from front row. The noise is probably die to my old camera having noise more like that of film, so iso 800 is pretty noisy.

The first and third are good, show the atmosphere and are nicely composed. 2nd is far too OOF, 4th could do with seeing his face, would make it stronger.
