Anybody get any good photos of the lightning?
i got a few standing inside my garage, edited some mad colour into the shot, i reckon they look kinda cool....

I couldnt find a clearing and also didnt have my DSLR on me at the time, 2 tired now LOL

Damn I wish I had my camera. Every 30 seconds on my drive home there was lightning flash!

nice! had a go myself - but was too far away (northshore) and didnt really have a clue how to photograph lightning. Plus most of it was sheet lightning (just flashes)

PureKiwi - nah it was pretty small compared to that huuge one a while back. But then I wouldnt really know as I slept through it last time!

Ah you are lucky I haven't seen a lightning since I am in NZ! I wish I could have seen one and even taken a picture! I really like the second picture, find the colors are very good, good composition with the sort of broken sky.
