Again, playing with my strobes. Working with 2 strobes, 1 through a shoot through umbrella, the other bare.
Straight out of the camera bar some sharpening. Need to get the hang of this strobe thing.

I like number 2 it seems more alive to me and my eye tends to follow up and down , the other one to me is good to kind of dark and mysteries & light hope that makes some scene to you

I also like the second one because it's closer and it's possible to see well the details of the flower. In number one the black is a bit too present.

I don't particularly like the settings (flowers on black backgrounds) but great shots I must say, esp no 2.

It just goes to show, everyone has a different opinion. I actually like the first one, but I guess it depends on what people see in the shots. The slightly darker exposure and the positioning of the flowers give it a slightly jaunty flavour. The second one is a well taken shot, but doesn't quite speak in the same way.....go figure :).

I'll vote for the 2nd shot as well due to the curvature of the stem fitting better with the portrait aspect in my opinion.
I like the lighting here also.
