Here's the 1st 2 pano's I have done with my 1000D, I had done some on my SX10 is but they don't count since the stitch assist mode lined them all up so you couldn't go wrong lol

There both with my 18-55mm IS kit lens, the first one was taken with the camera on its side and its made from 8 pics @ F/5.6, 1/500sec, focal length 40mm and ISO 400, no tripod.

The second was 5 pics with the camera upright hence the pic isnt as tall, it was shot at F/5.6, and 1/320sec, focal length 22mm again no tripod since I accidentally left it at home lol

I use Microsoft ICE to stitch them together, its a free program just for panoramas and I have found its a lot better than the canon program that comes with there cameras

just downloaded Microsoft ICE, will have a play with it tomorrow :D
