Hi everyone. The last competition was our biggest ever with 10 entrants.

thirdkid was the winner and has chosen the theme of "Change of Season"

For the next theme I'm thinking season / season change, something that depicts the change of a season. Since Winter just passed, there's going to be some great nature things to take pictures of, specially since it's Spring and sunny

Also, a member has suggested that we keep the photographer of each entry anonomous when the voting commences. I think this is a great idea.

Ok guys best of luck and make sure you try go go out there and take a NEW photo instead of recycling an old one for your entry.

Just to recap:

The theme is: Change of Season
Closing date for submissions: Friday 19th September 2009 - Midnight
How to submit your entry: PM me (talan (http://www.photographersonline.co.nz/private.php?do=newpm&u=3)) with an embedded entry (http://www.photographersonline.co.nz/showthread.php?t=61) and I will post up the entries after the closing date and commence a public poll which will run for 1 week.

*Please submit photos no larger than 800x800px

All the best,
Talan & David

I agree on keeping the photographers name secret untill the voting has ended. that way there is no favoritism of anyone in particular

By watermarks I take it you mean signatures etc. Cheers, Bernz

yea pretty sure he meant no writing over the pic, or in the corner to stop copyright infringement. I think the proper watermark system (which doesnt cover pic, but is embedded in the data for 'tracking') should be fine. Or just use the creative commons system on sites such as Flickr.

Sorry for the confusion. Due to our new competition rule of not revealing the identity of the entrant, you must not have your signature / watermark on your photo so people cannot identify whos entry it is.
