Well I have taken these as normal shot but afterwards doing some PP in CS4 I have added a magnifying glass and highlighted the focal point - what do you think?

I think they are pretty cool - haven't seen this done before.

thats cool, good idea.
You can kinda tell that its fake because the light is reflecting off the magnifying glass at a different angle to the other objects in the shot.

Have you thought os using it as the prime lens?

Have you thought about doing it at the time of the shot, ie not in PP?

one thing I find sorta wierd is that the magnifying glass is just hanging there in space... Would be good if you could put a hand on it or just have the hand-hold part of it out of the image, so it looks more realistic.
It's a very interesting idea! And I agree, would be awesome to draw attention to small bugs / details :)
