Seeing im a total second hand buyer.
I find it hard to go past canon, whenever they release a new body the price of the old ones go through the floor:) and i find quality lenses are more available and cheaper in NZ.
Nikon has some really nice bodies, but find lenses are hard to find at a reasonable price.

well, i think that Nikon is a good choice because of their build quality of the bodies..... yes they are expensive as hell but i guess you have to pay for what's good.

I'M still kinda lost im trying to get it down to 2 of canon and 2 of Nikon then go from there at the moment i think im at 40D and maybe 50D for canon not sure about Nikon

I use and love my 40D.

Although the new 7D is very interesting...8fps appeals to me as I love sports photography...But the price is gonna be in excess of $3500 body only...

Should of brought my Big Wednesday ticket in Masterton...

canon is, in my opinon, better for second hand gear price-wise. PLus Nikon lenses are expensive, even when second hand. Having said that, Nikon is pretty awesome (mate shoot nikon gear, and i love his camera) just expensive . . .
