Got a heads up that Nikon had dropped their prices so off to photo international's website for a look and yep, down by a heap. The D700 is around a G less which is nice and I see some lenses are down by a heap to.
yep, and there should be more room for nikon to drop. was talking to a nikon rep last week and he reckon that nikon have to drop the price as they ain't selling any cameras compare with canon.
MMMMMMMMM that's VERY good news!!! haha me is saving hard for the new 70-200 and a couple of other things now :)
ya, but expect the new 70-200 to be over $4k mark as well, price indicated from states is around $2400 U.S.D. with today's exchange rate + tax is just a little over 4k nzd.
yeah i know wat a ripoff..............

Wow.. it's still damn expensive in NZ! I got a deal before the prices went through the roof earlier this year but I think the D700 is around the NZ$4500 mark in the UK at the moment.

From what I've seen it's cheaper to buy here than Au. But that was right now..It all chaanges in two minuted
