Mt Taranaki

Took these on a recent trip to New Plymouth using 50D and 18-200. Had to up the ISO a bit as I didn't have my tripod with me. 1st sunset 28/04/2011 and 2nd sunrise 29/04/2011.

Nice shots. I like number two more. I would crop away the half-a-tree to the left in photo one.

I am supposed to be going to New Plymouth again in July, so hopefully might get to photgraph it with a good coating of snow. At present there is no snow here either. Bad for all the local skifields.
