Wasn;t allowed a flash, didn't bring my tripod as I didn;t know if that would be allowed either. Ahhh well, here's some shots:

My suggestion: Don't go to this on a weekend :D
It seemed that whenever I went to line up a shot, I'd just get into the right spot and someone would get in the way, or you'd get charged down by a ravening toddler...
As a result I'm less than happy with my composition for many of these shots, but <shrug>

Cheers Thirdkid!
Did you mean this one?
http://dl-client.getdropbox.com/u/32357/Forum%20Pic%20Share/2009-08-01%20F1%20at%20Te%20Papa/tn_IMG_7953.jpg (http://dl-client.getdropbox.com/u/32357/Forum%20Pic%20Share/2009-08-01%20F1%20at%20Te%20Papa/IMG_7953.jpg)
Usually I only use Lightroom, and generally I tried to keep to "things you could do with chemicals in a traditional darkroom". Exception: 2nd to bottom row, middle pic (but even then still done in Lightroom)
That one was cropped, contrast-enhanced and added some fill-light (the right of the photo was a little dark for my taste)
Or you talking about 4th row first pic?

That's had highlight recovery, slight crop and a little vignette - that's it. The blur was from using a Lensbaby (http://www.lensbaby.com) 3G with a 5-point star-shaped F4 aperture (hence the little stars on the tyres and front-splitter)

I got mine as a present :D
No adapter needed - you can get them in a range of camera mounts - mine is suited for Canon EOS (EF Mount).
They are COMPLETELY manual - no autofocus, no aperture dial, zooming means adding a telephoto or wide-angle adapter or using your feet (is a 50mm lens)
Unless you're buying old stock, you can't get the version I've got anymore. Nowadays there is three models: "Muse", "Composer" and "Control Freak" - The "3G" is equivalent to "Control Freak".
If I was buying a Lensbaby nowdays I'd DEFINTELY get the Composer.
http://www.lensbaby.com/lenses-composer.php - $270USD + shipping (+ GST), and I've seen them in stores at around $550 NZD
