Hi guys,

so, i have got this macbook, it needs a bag, the bag i have is HUGE and the laptop keeps sliding out of the retaining straps.
old bag was for a 17" screen laptop, the new one is 13"

so, im looking for something that isnt a laptop bag looking bag, but dosnt look like a man bag, if you get my drift :D

i have had a general look around and not found much, nothing at DSE looked more than a normal laptop bag, or those sleeve things.

any ideas?

Cheers

so does it need to fit any of your photography gear as well?

shoulder or back pack? :D

I think you're looking for something like a satchel or messenger bag?

I'd start looking in the local mall - they usually have one or two places that specialize in accessories like bags and wallets. Doubt you'd find much at places like DSE in the style you want ;)

im looking something shoulder/messenger bag, not going to be for carrying any camera gear, just big enough for the laptop and the cables.

bags and wallets store aye. . . hhmmm. . . will have to go wandering the mall :( i hate malls lol

sounds like a good sunday mission, saturday i will be asleep all day, doing a 4pm - 6am shift today :( so will get home about 7am sat morning. damn people calling in sick hahaha

crumpler sells some really good looking satchely-not-laptop-bag-looking laptop bags. although crumpler shops are quite scarce, it's worth having a look around. they'll set you back a bit in costs, but the quality really makes up for it.

just had a look at the crumpler site, i notice everything is for either the 15" or 17" laptops and the smaller bags are for ipads, those dont have enough room for cords and mice etc :(

I have a 14" dell and a 15" crumpler case, it fits quite snugly so I reckon that they're slightly undersized? If you end up getting a 15", it'll be a tad oversized but will be roomy enough for all of your cords and misc.
