A good friend of mine wanted some photos. For his myspace page.
He is a Chilean Rapper, so most songs are in spanish.

I only posted the jumping one, as he wanted movement in some shots.

The setup was a Camera Canon 5D with a 100-300 F5.6 L ( great buy for $500), and Nikon SB-24, SB-25 Off camera , triggered by Cybersync wireless system.
Most were taken at F5.6 , 1/200, ISO 100

whats the lens? $500 L lens???

2nd ones is meaaannn..try using a diffuser/bounce on the first photo to make the background (graffiti) have lesser light reflection..

The lens is a Canon 100-300 f5.6L, an oldie but a goodie, much like the 80-200f2.8L .
Yes i got it for $500 off trade me, there have been a few on there lately.
When strobing you don't need a fast lens :)

Yeah i noticed that after a couple of shots, we decided to move to a new location, and used the second light as a rim light instead of lighting the background.

I wish the graffiti artists would use matt paint :)

Could always spray the graffiti with a matte clear-coat... :D
