Reptile Shots

Reptiles are the man. Here's a couple I took over at Australia Zoo. I was suprised I managed to get good snake shots as they were in glass boxes. Got a few strange looks as everyone else was wrecking my shots with their built in flash and I was taking shots without a flash because although the room was dark the displays were bright as.

wow they all came out really well, love the green one. I'm a sucker for colour what more can I say

Thanks, the turtle in the last one follwed me around in his pool for ages as I was checking out angles. That shot is straight down all the way zoomed in with my 200mm Sigma. I'm very suprised I managed to get that shot in focus TBH.

Yeah suprised hgow well the colour came out on the snakes shooting through glass, I guess as the room was dark there were no reflections when people weren't flashing against the glass...

I have an almost identical shot of the turtle. Did you take this from the bridge at Sandgate in the little lagoon there?
