Allow me to share my current experience regarding about sensor cleaning. I got some spots at my photo recently. So I tried to clean sensor by myself. Because every DSLR owner might come across this kind of problem anyway. I tried blower, wet swab so on. But after cost me $100 for different kind of wet swab, I found out lenpen( SENSORKLEAR II) method that cost $20 really effective. I very happy with result by using lenpen. Only need to use blower every time after clean using lenpen otherwise some carbon particle rest on sensor but not much issue. After I used wet swab by using recommended size by constant pressure and contact, some smear rest on sensor and tried to clean smear but at different part occurred gain and again also very hard to clean at corner.

Actually $56 for wet swab, another $25 for wet swab, $20 for lenpen and $90 ($30 + $60) for professional clean. To clean 3 cameras, 2 camera totally cleaned but 1 still can not. I tried by myself first using swabs, then lenpen and other one sent to professional to let them cleaned but came back with same condition they said should be dust or scratch on the filter that all. Very embarrassment experience for cleaning sensor. At last I found out by using lenpen get professional result. Actually I wish to share my very bad experience to all. Pls. try using lenpen to clean sensor first before send to professional clean(what they say). I bet you can get professional cleaned quality by using lenpen, for me I'm stupid enough. :D
