So today i got around to my blog and posted abit on Photographt and secruity and how to lessen the risk of having you gear stolen take a look share it around and tell me what you think

This is a good reminder to hide your gear! I never would have thought of being burgled in that way, what a nasty & crafty burgler :mad:

We were robbed 3 months ago & all my gear was just sitting in camera bags beside my bed. All I was left with was my tripod minus the tripod plate :( Luckily I have full insurance & had receipts for most of my gear (bought most of it about 4 months prior to burglary) so I managed to replace everything.

I now store all my gear in a camera backpack & hide that everytime I leave the house without it. I have also emailed myself a list of serial numbers & pics of everything.

i got all our gear insured on the weekend, so that makes me feel much better :D
