Just want to get a gauge of what the split is hehe. If your brand isn't listed in the poll then just make a post telling us what you have.
You can select multiple choices if you own different brands of cameras.
This is only a poll and not for any Canon vs. Nikon vs. other debate :p

I think the little hampster miscalculated. Actually, I have no idea but it's ok now. May be page caching.

How is that going to effect it?
VB has a known bug with its polls.
It has issues calculating percentages from small amounts of Data.
As more people vote, and the total number of votes go up, it will become more accurate.
Essentially it does some really odd rounding.
Mods messing with the totals also screws things up :D
seems like there are so much more canon folks on here!

Haha I resent that, im not playing with the totals... Talan? :P
Hmm didn't know about this i'll look into it - do you know if someone votes for two different brands then vbulletin counts their percentage toward both brand and hence thats why it adds up to over 100%... Because in effect the poll is correct in adding up to over 100% if a few users have chosen multiple brands.

it seems to me at the moment that Jelsoft purposefully built multiple choice polls this way to show the true percentage for each option...
Say i vote for Nikon and Canon in a multiple choice poll with two options.
Then someone else just votes for Canon
Amount of votes:
Nikon: 1
Canon: 2
Users voted: 2
vbulletin then (i think) says 50% of all users have Nikon and 100% have Canon... hence the poll goes over 100% to 150% i tested this out here (http://www.photographersonline.co.nz/showthread.php?t=156)
