Hi guys, am a young, enthusiast photographer, really looking to improve my city photography.

Does anyone know of any good locations in Auckland to get some nice high-angle, city shots? Some spot that could yield similar results:

or spots that allow for a cool image where the photographer is more "within" the location. Ie. Not so high-angle?

Any tips, tricks, or city photography stories you guys have would be great to hear, too.

Never been to Auckland, but you have a Sky Tower which I believe has a restaurant with panorama windows.

Have a talk to your local aeroclub. Had some free flights in exchange for a couple bevvies in local watering hole.

I was thinking more the roof of some highrise buildings? I doubt there is easy access to roofs though...
