Hey guys,
dont know if im posting this in the right place,
im looking to buy a Nikon D90 with a 18-200mm VR lens
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/Digital-cameras/Digital-SLR/auction-225019841.htm
are they a good camera? pros and cons? or should i be looking at something different?
also, i saw this,
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/Digital-cameras/Digital-SLR/auction-225177397.htm
which has a different lens, but im asumming the first one is a better unit?
any help is appreciated,
Cheers, Smurff
hmmmmmmm that seller is good... i used to buy many many things off that seller... great service... and ofcourse great products
Also the D90 is a realy good camera....
the thing is.... once you buy that 18-200 you will want more and more lenses and other things... i suggest you get a 50mm f/1.8 as they are cheap and one of nikon's best lenses when you compare the price vs value.
may i ask what you shoot with now?

those things dont really break eh..... i got my d300 and d700 off that seller. if it does break the guy will send it back but it is an international warrenty u get with it. i think buying here is bullshit as when u need to repair anything major they'll send it back to japan or some shit any way. buying in NZ only means you pay more and for no reason.

Smurff: Get a price from ProGear in Newmarket (3 Railway Street). They are NZ Nikon and Canon resellers & are present on TradeMe as "Glam" and "Progear1". They're likely your best chance at NZ-warrantied gear at good prices & you get receipts for any & all purchases.

Definantly buy off trademe.
the warrenty will usualy be for 2 years international warrent from trademe?
the guys ship with very secure packaging aswell.
I brought mine off there about 2 months ago,
and everything has turned out perfect.
