Photoshop brush tool - opacity vs. flow

Hi all,

I've done some reading but still not understanding what the difference between opacity and flow is for the brushes. To me they do very similar things. What are the differences, strengths and weaknesses of opacity vs. flow?

There is clearly a difference after i just experimented with a white line on black. try to think of flow and the paint coming from the brush, i think the higher the % the faster it comes out and the lower the % the slower it comes out, creating an incremented effect.

Ahh I found a video tutorial (http://www.photographersonline.co.nz/showthread.php?t=1130) which explains it precisely. But still can't think of one situation is where one has more advantages than the other :s
