Better halfs little nephew. Shot with 3 flashes, one on the wall to blow it out, one for fill and one in an umbrella as the main.

the one blowing out the wall is REALLY showing! maybe you should dial the poiwer down a little. also if you are looking for the white background just PS it as apposed to trying to make it with over exposing.... ( at least that's what i found out when i tired out something like that)

Cool kid.... i wish i had a few around to practice on lol...

Be nice if PS was the answer to everything.
If you want to spend all day selecting back grounds and removing them, then be my guest.


I quite like the highlights, they give him a bit of shape and deffinition.

The second one could be better around the forehead, but you try keeping a kid this age still, and in the same place so he is always the right distance from the lights :p

I would say it has way too much fill light. Could you pull some black into it in photoshop?

It is a bit flat looking. Maybe greater weight on the side for some more depth to his features?
